About this ebook

His next flight becomes a fight for his life … and the life of the two pilots.

Colton is helping out on a training session in Greenland, currently in midair. The copilot is a woman he knew intimately and had planned to reconnect with, only life never seemed to give him that window. His flight turns into a nightmare as the engine blows, and he, along with the two pilots, are forced to abandon the bird and jump into the Arctic Ocean.

Kate Winnows might not have been overjoyed to see Colton as her only passenger, but she’s darn happy he’s here when all hell breaks loose. She’d never forgotten him. Had hoped to reconnect but, like him, her life was busy, finding each of them all over the planet. Now she needs him to help her save her reputation, her job and possibly her life … again. And, if she can make it happen, she wants a second chance to show him what he means to her.

Especially when they find out the crash was no accident but just the tip of the iceberg in a case involving blackmail, drugs and … murder.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This is another great addition to the series. All of these SEALs are tested to their limits. Along the way, they find their soul mate. Colton is tasked to go to Greenland for some training. On his way there, the engine on the plane explodes. He rescues the pilot and the co-pilot. The co-pilot, whom he discovers. is a woman that he had a one-night stand with. A woman he hadn't forgotten but with his job, unfortunately didn't call, Kate Winnows. Kate felt a strong attraction to the handsome SEAL four years ago but she wasn't ready to settle down. She loves flying and not many men can deal with the time that she is away. Colton, Kate, along with a fellow SEAL Troy, have to figure out the who, what and why the plane was brought down. The intrigue and suspense is one that kept me glued to my e-reader. I couldn't read the story fast enough. It was so well written that it felt like I was right there in the middle of the action. This story was written in my favorite dual POV. The sparks between the characters were right there from the beginning when they discovered they were on the same flight. Seeing into the thoughts of Colton while the plane was going down and after were some very insightful ones into his feelings for Kate. There was a short sexy scene that should not offend anyone but I can only recommend this story to anyone over the age of 18. While this is a part of a series, this book can be read as a stand-alone.

I can't believe this is book 23 in the Seals of Honor series and they just keep getting better. Colton is on a flight destined for Greenland where he will be helping out in a training session when he discovers the co-pilot is Kate, a woman he knows or rather has known and never forgotten. This dilemma becomes minor as they crash into the Arctic Ocean where hypothermia can take a life in a matter of minutes. Colton's training can help save Kate and the pilot but this is only the beginning of their troubles. The story goes on to one which includes deceit, murder, blackmail etc. Colton and Kate work together to stay safe, solve the mystery of the plane crash and work out the complications of romance in another winner by Dale Mayer! The epilogue hints about an assignment for Troy in Alaska which sounds intriguing especially on an oil rig with suspected sabotage and a storm coming. Can't wait!

Thank the good lord Colton was on the plane. He could hear Katie's voice in the cockpit, boy did her voice bring back some great memories. The pilot or was she the pilot, well they were having a serious discussion and turbulence seemed to be picking up. Katie told him to stay put and buckle up. Then the unthinkable happened and we will skip that part. What is going on in Greenland, a lot it seems when he and Katie finally get out of the infirmary on base. It seems like everywhere they turn there is something else happening. What with blizzards and sabotage and everything else going on they just want to get out of there. There is so much happening you do not want to put the book down. You will not regret getting this book it is awesome. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
