Why is this book almost double the cost of All the other ones? I thought that I'd give this author a try, and the stories are very well written, but there's a lot of mistakes with the time line and crossover characters. Also there's some Major problems with the books only being HALF the length advertised! I think I'll just stick to reading the other authors.

This series is my ultimate favorite series I've ever come across. S.m Reine, is also one of my top 2 favorite authors because of her work on The Descent Series&The Ascension Series and her ability to connect all of her other series together whether you started anywhere. But you really should start at the beginning. I read books like water. I can read a good book in 2 hours flat and keep reading and I'm usually pretty good at predictions and she kept me guessing and wondering,That's not easy, Mindblowing!

Well written. leaves you wanting more. Have read the Ascension series, Lonesome Palladin and am now on book 7 of the Descent. Love the way this writer thinks I have been reading fantasy and science fiction for 56 years and am amazed at her artful storytelling. Happy I started reading her books. very entertaining.
