Oliver & Wren have always been good friends, but the timing was never right. One fateful night locked in their old school’s gym, truths come to light. I loved that these two gave good banter. And I loved how easy their friendship was. But, there’s always a monkey wrench. Fate can be fickle, but here’s hoping she’s on their side. The audiobook narration by Samantha Brentmoor & Robert Hatchet brought the characters & the town to life. The emotion & passion delivered by both was exceptional

I enjoyed this short story and quickly got pulled into it. It is obviously a precursor to a full read. I liked getting to know the history and the relationship between Oliver and Wren. I felt like the characters were fully developed and there wasn't a cliffhanger except to know that the story will be continued. The full book will have issues between Oliver and his ex-fiance, Dot, and her father. Should be another good read! My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.

Loved the dual narration from Robert Hatchet and Samantha Brentmoor. What happens when two old friends Wren and Olive find themselves locked in a gymnasium for the night together. Secrets come to light.. Both had a crush on each other when younger. Wren and Olive find themselves talking and learning about each current lives. The chemistry is strong between them. Ohh Cliff hanger.
