Willow is supposed to be spending the evening with her sister, but is left to her own devices after her sister goes for a tryst with her married lover. Deciding to have just one drink before calling it a night she ends up talking to the most amazing man and both enjoy a no name night of passion. Tennyson is the epitome of a playboy. His life is a never ending run of one night stands and drinking. Unfortunately the fact that he is a very visible individual his antics are fodder for the press. Six months later and neither of them can stop thinking about the other. Imagine the surprise when Willow turns out to be the PR guru hired to clean up Tennyson's image. Whilst being a shameless player who continued his lifestyle of drinking and sleeping around after his night with Willow, once he sets eyes on her again stops immediately. His focus then is solely on her and her. A truly wonderful story where both characters have baggage and Tennyson some hefty trauma courtesy of his horrible mother

“There is a line in my life now. Before Willow and after.” While Dante from My Destiny is still my number one Samantha bbf, Tennyson and Willow’s story is definitely hands down the best she’s ever written. First off, have a box of tissues. You are going to cry. Second, be prepared to read it in one sitting as you will not want to put it down. And while you can read this book if you haven’t read any of the others, don’t. That’s all I’m saying. Do yourself a favor and read them all in order.

Despite the ML being ‘anti-love’, it was great to see how he embraced his feelings as the story unfolded (instead of denying it like you commonly find in other books). It was a really lovely read, yet still a page turner, a good level of drama and bedroom activities. I loved the FL, the introduction of health conditions and them both coming together at every turn. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
