A second chance range surrounded by death of a parent, newborn and miscarriage where they try to give each other space turns into a disaster with miscommunication and isolation. In the end the wife escapes to her Jacobite sympathizer father that could end her life for treason. It could also put her husband and clan in danger too. A husband who wants to win back the only woman he will ever love. A phenomenal action packed book from start to finish! Given a complimentary arc for an honest review
