People of Power: God's Power in You

I am a graduate of Oakland City University with a Master's Degree in Management and I have served as a Pastor for 22 years. In my role as a Pastor I have seen many struggles both personnally and among members of my congregation. One thing I have noticed over the years is that in times of trouble we feel powerless to effect change. One night I had a dream and in that dream I was a soldier, wearing armor, facing many enemies. I would call on the name of Jesus and the enemies would fall. I awoke the next morning with the theme "People of Power." The Lord began to give me ideas, scriptures and thoughts so I wrote them down and People of Power moved from an idea to a reality by the power of God. God's people need to know we do have power, we do have promise and we do have hope. I pray this book is a blessing to you and will empower you to live by the Power of God within you. I pastor the Marengo Christian's Missionary Church in Marengo Indiana where we have put these scriptures and philosophies into practice and God is blessing us greatly. People are being saved, healed and lives are being changed by the power of God. It is a joy to worship with my three children; Crystal who is 17, Carley is 11 and Rease is 4. I want them to grow up knowing that God's power is not a myth but something available to all who believe.
