This is book five in The Prescotts Series and it is Levi and Madison's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Levi who is a paramedic was getting a new partner which he wasn't happy about as it usually meant a lot of hassle but he got a shock when he met Madison because his attraction to her was instant only for him to find out that she was engaged. Madison is a paramedic and she loved her job and she is also engaged to a doctor but she wanted a change and transferred to a different town. Levi and Madison were in perfect sync with each other not only in there work life but in every others aspect of their lives and when Madison's engagement was broken because of her fiance cheating on her and getting the other woman pregnant and Madison and Levi decided to be friend's with benefits there connection and chemistry was so strong, hot and intense that I thought my kindle would melt and self destruct and even though they were perfect for each other in every way would Levi be able to get Madison to lower her wall's enough to let him in and show her that he would never hurt her and would always be there for her regardless of the situation and consequences as he was in love with her and wanted forever with her but will Madison be able to trust her heart again after everything that she had been through. Omg this book takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and I cried so much while reading it but I still couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see what would happen next as it was so addictive and I couldn't put it down. This story makes you feel so much and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series. Tara Wyatt is an amazing author and writer and the depth of her story's are what makes you go back to read more of her books and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention on the edge of their seats while pulling you in to the storyline right from the start and throughout the whole book. SIDE EFFECTS is the fifth instalment in Tara Wyatt’s contemporary, adult THE PRESCOTTS erotic, romance series focusing on the Prescott family. This is paramedics Levi Prescott, and Madison Petrov’s story line. SIDE EFFECTS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Told from dual third person perspectives (Madison and Levi) SIDE EFFECTS follows the forbidden romance and relationship between NYFD paramedics Levi Prescott and Madison Petrov. Madison and Levi had been partnered together on the same rig for close to one year but Madison Petrov has been in a committed relationship. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. There is a large ensemble of colorful secondary and supporting characters including Levi’s older brother Noah and Hudson,and their cousins Max Prescott (Love Bug 3), Lucian Prescott (Bad Intentions 4); Madison’s sister Sydney, their parents Andrei and Yulia Petrov, as well as Madison’s ex Brock. SIDE EFFECTS is a story of family and friendships, betrayal and acceptance, moving forward and love. The premise is captivating and consuming, quite a bit lighter than the previous instalment. The romance is seductive and steamy; the characters are energetic and dynamic.

Madison has just come out of a relationship that lasted longer than it should have when she is assigned to be Levi's new partner working as paramedics for the FDNY. Levi is not sure about her when he meets her, but she soon proves herself. Neither one is looking for love, but just when they least expect it, there it is. This book is incredible. I've read the series so far, and while they're all good, this one is my favorite. Levi and Madison start out as friends, and their story evolves into real lasting love that they are willing to risk it all for. This can be read as a stand alone, but the series is good enough that you would really be missing out if you didn't read it all. Well worth the one click, you do not want to miss this one!
