Halloween in Marietta, Montana what could be better? Oh I know Halloween time at the Graff Hotel which is in Marietta. Oh now that would be complete!! Oh yes this town is in my blood and part of my spirit too. Guess that is a good thing as we are going ghost hunting in this book. Oh yes we are. Attendance at the hotel is down so they hired a new gal to help bring in folks to the hotel and she happens to be new blood to the town. Well Walker Wilder errrr Kent as she is now known by is the brand spanking new PR person for the hotel. As she is cleaning up and looking for Halloween decorations in one of the upper rooms,, she notices a few ODD occurrences which gives her the idea to call in a ghost hunter. Does she believe the hotel is haunted? You have to read and decide for yourself but let me tell you a little about Calum Quest. Calum Quest is one fine ghost hunter himself. Not just that he has has high rated show about...what else ghosts but this man is so good looking and from reading this book he knows how to treat a lady right. OH yes... He belongs in Marietta for sure as he has the true Montana heart and sense of community that only a person from Marietta can display...which is odd as he is not from there...yet. This book is well written and has fun twists and ghostly turns. We get to reconnect with some of our Wilder families in Marietta and meet new ones. I am looking forward to more fun events and celebrations at the Graff and can't wait to see where Rafe ends up...Marietta or back down under.

Halloween at the Graff by Sinclair Jayne, book one in the Holiday at the Graff series, is an interesting story. Walker Wilder’s life has imploded, making her feel lost and with no idea how she is going to turn her life around. When one of her former interns offers her a life-line with a job she is way over-qualified for and in Marietta, Montana, she jumps for it. Walker is now the new events director for the Graff Hotel, where she is trying to create a fresh buzz and new traditions to fill rooms during the off-season. Halloween might not seem touristy, but maybe hiring a spirit-hunting TV crew to showcase the ghosts within the Graff will definitely grab some headlines. Maybe Walker hasn’t lost her magic touch. Calum Quest is burned out. He created an entertainment empire chasing spirits he has never seen and is tired of asking questions which have no answer. He wants to recharge his life, starting a new adventure. When he sees Walker walking toward him he starts wondering if one truly can fall in love at first sight and if he can get her to reciprocate those feelings. Walker’s ideas for the Halloween celebration just might start some new traditions for Marietta, a life with Calum and with her newly found cousins. I enjoyed reading this book, reading it in one day. Sinclair Jayne is a great story teller able to draw her readers into her stories. I definitely recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Excellent start to what should be a fun series of Marietta holiday stories featuring the historic Graff Hotel. This one is a Halloween themed story obviously and it's a good one. Walker Wilder is the new event planner for the Graff and it's her job to try and get business up during the off season. First challenge is Halloween. Bringing in a ghost hunter team seems like just the idea she needs to get interest up and bookings flowing. Calum Quest has built his career around ghost chasing but he's beginning to tire of the whole thing so taking on the Graff job isn't appealing. That is until he gets a look at Walker. Fun read that I definitely recommend.
