About this ebook

"This. Book. The characters. You will fall in love with them, and you will devour this book so quickly, you'll end up wanting to read it all over again. I loved it!" — New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy

When I signed up for the nanny agency, I didn't expect a remote mansion on a windswept cliff. Or a brooding billionaire who resents his new role. His brother's death means he's now in charge of a moody seven year old girl. She's lashing out at the world, but I can handle her. I have to. I need the money to finish my college degree. As long as I can avoid the boss who alternately mocks me and coaxes me to reveal my darkest secrets.

Good start to the series, I hope we get to know a softer side of the hero. Jane had such a difficult life and I hope she stays strong. Beau has a mean side and I would love to see him acting a little softer to Jane, showing what he truly has in his heart. It ends on a cliffhanger and I must say I am hooked and can't wait for the story to continue. Despite the obvious obstacles in both main characters personal pasts and in their present lives, I do believe they can save each other.

Oooh, a retelling not of a fairytale but of a classic – Jane Eyre – I like. A dark, broody, gloomy hero – I love. Another dark romance trilogy by Skye Warren – I adore. PRIVATE PROPERTY ticks off so many of my boxes, it’s not even funny. A year-long nanny contract. An enigmatic, jaded man and the broken seven-year-old niece he unexpectedly became the guardian for. An innocent and sweet young woman, who’s seen the worst in people during her young years in the foster system, who is now in need of money for her college degree. Colliding worlds. Secrets upon secrets, including an eerie one in the attic. Mystery and suspense surround the elusive Beau Rochester, who remains inscrutable until the very last page, where we’re hit with the mother of all cliffhangers. Ugh! Mysterious (I know I said that already, but it can’t be stressed enough), gritty and steamy, this age gap, forced proximity romance is a magnificent tale of loss, absolution, and finding zest for life again. A strong kick-off to what I know will be an intense trilogy. May can’t be here soon enough!

Enter this private property! 4 stars I was immediately pulled into this story with the way this author weaved her words. I was also immediately intrigued with Mr. Beau Rochester. During the story, he became this broody, commanding, dark and delicious man, and I was here for it! Jane seemed innocent and fragile yet was strong, and I felt for her so much throughout this book. The tension was electric between them, but the feelings they developed seemed rushed. There were secrets and mysteries woven throughout that kept me turning pages, and I can’t wait to read more especially after that cliffhanger. I recommend you enter this private property! I requested and received a copy of this ebook for my honest review that I am voluntarily leaving.
