-------

After being together for ten years, Sylvie and Dan have a comfortable home, fulfilling jobs, beautiful twin girls, and communicate so seamlessly, they finish each other's sentences. They have a happy marriage and believe they know everything there is to know about each other. Until it's casually mentioned to them that they could be together for another sixty-eight years... and panic sets in.

They quickly decide to create little surprises for each other, to keep their relationship fresh and fun. But in their pursuit of Project Surprise Me - anything from unexpected gifts to restaurant dates to photo shoots - mishaps arise with disastrous and comical results.

Gradually, the surprises turn to shocking discoveries. And when a scandal from the past is uncovered, they begin to wonder if they ever really knew each other after all. . .

I loved the theme in this book: about marriage and how to make it work. It was not as gripping as many other S.Kinsella's books that I read, but it was also funny. Important things are discussed in it, in the light humorous manner. Lovely holiday read 👌😊

As usual, amidst the mix of characters, Sophie never fails to deliver a sube message about humanity. I have to be honest though, I enjoy her previous book more, My Not So Perfect Life compared to this one.

The book had the perfect start to keep one's eyes glued to the book, and indeed contained some exciting ,intriguing as well as bemusing moments deliberately put to let the reader enjoy the wit and the humour the book has to pose. The lives of Dan and Sylvie have indeed been put up wonderfully with every read to be beseechingly delayed up to a few more pages of read and each twist has contributed to the perfect end possible............. Just nailed it Sophie🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
