States of Love: Collection 3 is a set of four novellas for the states of Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa. They are short and steamy, instalove, and OTT romances of various tropes. BOOK 1: Idaho Idol is about Demi and Gavin. This is an opposites attract romance. Demi is working on a yacht that the star Gavin is renting. BOOK 2: Illinois Innkeeper focuses on Graham, Gavin's brother, who is an innkeeper and Miranda, who is a firefighter. When the Inn has a fire, Miranda is there for Graham. BOOK 3: Indiana Idealist focuses on Camille and Leo. She owns a golf course, and he is an environmental activist. This is an opposites attract romance. I'm in love with the Charlotte the pig! :) BOOK 4: Iowa Intellect focuses on Brock and Caroline. This is a sports romance. He is a hockey player and she is a doctor. When he is injured, can this shy doctor help him? All of these stories are short, sweet, and steamy with great chemistry and ending with an HEA. I received a free copy for review.

Idaho Idol We heard the whispers about something between Demi and Gavin in Hawaii Hottie and now we get to see what really happened on board the Sea Dreams and where they get to. It’s a story that could easily have been pulled from the popular headlines right now, and I feel like that gave it more impact by being something a lot of us will be familiar with. It’s a short and spicy book that was all kinds of fun to read.

This is a fun set of stories with sweet characters and nicely formed plot lines. Graham and Gavin both have some mystery and suspense in their story. Leo and Camille along with their pet pig Charlotte are probably my favorite. Not just because of Charlotte, but also because of the slow burn that ends with a big pay off. Brock and Caroline are favorites because, hockey. I enjoyed each story. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

1. I despise whipped cream. There, I admitted it in writing. Let the ridiculing begin.

2. Even though I have lived as far south as Key Largo, Florida, and as far north as Maine, I landed in the middle.

3. If I don't make a conscious effort not to, I will drink nothing but tea morning, noon, and night. Hot tea, sweet tea, green tea––I love it all.

4. There doesn't seem to be much in life that is better than coming home to a couple of big dogs who are overjoyed to see me. My other family members usually show significantly less enthusiasm about my return.

5. Singing in my bestest, loudest voice does not make my family put on their happy faces. This includes the big, loving dogs referenced above.

6. Yes, I am aware that bestest is not a word.

7. Dorothy was right. There's no place like home.

8. All of the numerous bottles in my shower must be lined up with their labels facing out. It makes me feel a little like Julia Roberts' mean husband from the movie Sleeping with the Enemy, but I can't seem to control this particular quirk.

9. I love, love, love finding a great bargain!

10. Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!
