Flynn Lewis has dedicated his life to his job. He even keeps a picture by his desk to remind him of why he has to succeed, his niece’s life depends on it. His niece was diagnosed with a rare, terminal disease. So he has devoted his own money, time and life to hopefully finding/researching a cure. He hopes to not only help his niece, but others like her. So his job is his life, nothing else matters. Until he sees a woman in distress, locked in the stairwell... Drew Richardson has led a life of “not feeling worthy enough, alone”. Even though Drew is a twin, she always felt unloved. Her sister was sick as a child and their mom devoted all her time and love to her twin. Hence, Drew left home and became a world traveler as a flight attendant-never building roots, relationships. Always searching. But she’s back in Australia to serve as maid of honor in her sister’s wedding. Never mind that she can’t stand the groom-to-be or his best man. But Drew loves her sister and will do anything to make her happy, even getting along with the best man. Until she meets him... Such a great, authentic story! I actually felt Drew’s pain when her sister, who she loves more than life, didn’t stand up for her. I could clearly envision her Epic costume and immediately wished I had an engagement party that was fun, instead of stuffy. I liked how Flynn seemed to sense Drew’s needs before she did. His devotion to his family made him the ultimate catch! Drew was able to be herself with Flynn, a girl willing to put down roots. Awesome, touching story! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Drew and Flynn’s love story in The Fling by Stefanie London, book 2 in the Close Quarters series, was a hot, sexy, emotional and enjoyable tale. Drew Richardson was dealing with a full plate when she came back home for maid-of-honor duties for her twin sister and things weren’t getting any better. She swore off romance after her ex broke her heart. Her sister’s bridesmaids want everything planned so it’s capital P Perfect. The best man, Flynn Lewis, is a royal pain in the butt, based on his emails. Then there’s the amazing, handsome, and delicious distraction living next door who she was sharing a few sexy nights of passion with; a man she nicknamed “Mr. Suit.” The truth comes out, “Mr. Suit” and Flynn Lewis are one and the same person. The problem is Flynn wants a woman who’s as serious as he, who’s in it for the long haul, who wants to stay in Melbourne; not a nomad like Drew. Despite being opposites, the chemistry between Drew and Flynn could light up Melbourne and their magnetism complement each other; being that Drew brought fun into Flynn’s life, something he’d been missing. Now, Drew needs to decide whether or not to take a chance on staying in Melbourne, Flynn, love and forever. Ms. London wrote a fun, hot, and sexy, romance that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with emotions, sexual chemistry, humor, wonderful dialogue, and endearing characters giving Drew and Flynn a chance to at love, and forever. I highly recommend The Fling to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
