About this eBook

The earth speaks for the angry dead...

The ley lines no longer offer me their power.

My best guess? New construction on an ancient burial ground.

If they'd stirred up a few vengeful spirits that would be one thing...

That's common enough. I could deal with that. If that's all it was.

But for some reason the earth has taken up these spirits' cause.

Nature has turned against us. It's turned against all of us...

And the more people who die, the more their rage infects the ley lines...

If I don't find a way to stop this soon, it won't just be the destruction of St. Louis that's at stake. The earth will tear herself apart...

Stones and Bones is the sixth book in the new Druid Detective Agency urban fantasy series. Elijah and Emilie already went through one adventure. Now, ten years after The Druid Legacy, they are facing a new challenge, one that will test their limits. The real threat isn't the otherworldly magic, the magic that once birthed life itself in Eden/Annwn. There was a reason why humanity was cast from the garden groves. When the magic of that place comes home, it won't take long to find out why. The real threat was here all along, hidden in human hearts, now made manifest by the power of creation itself.

Harry Potter meets Harry Dresden in Druid Detective Agency.

The DDA are pushed to their limits with case after case. Throw in time travel, very nasty baddies and you've got yourself a real page turner. Not to mention, it's time for Jodi's yearly visit with Merlin. She's his bio mom and her hormones are off the charts. Would you like to know the cause? It's a good one! Want to know if there are anymore dragons, if they vanquish all the baddies, does the time travel stop? Well, you'll just have to read the book. 5 stars! One click worthy! And if you can't tell, I highly recommend reading it!

A ghostly mission. If you've read various series by Mr. Monroe, you won't need an introduction to Joni, Merlin's mother. If not, prepare for a family reunion. The queen of the merfolk is here just in time to help investigate a case involving the unhappy ghosts of the early inhabitants of St. Louis. Disturbing their remains just stirred up a hornets' nest of discontent. As always, there is plenty of danger, adventure and intrigue before settling the case.

"Time travel makes my head hurt" Ghosts and imps are causing mayhem in the city. The Druid Detective Agency is hired to get rid of them. Joni is in town to visit Merlin and volunteers to help. What can go wrong with a sea queen and a powerful dragon along to help? Plenty! Theophilus Monroe has crafted another mouth-watering masterpiece! I could not stop reading. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

About the author

Theophilus Monroe is a fantasy author with a knack for real-life characters whose supernatural experiences speak to the pangs of ordinary life. After earning his Ph.D. in Theology, he decided that academic treatises that no one will read (beyond other academics) was a dull way to spend his life. So, he began using his background in religious studies to create new worlds and forms of magic–informed by religious myths, ancient and modern–that would intrigue readers, inspire imaginations, and speak to real-world problems in fantastical ways.

When Theo isn’t exploring one of his fantasy lands, he is probably playing with one of his three sons, or pumping iron in his home-gym, which is currently located in a 40-foot shipping container.

He makes his online home at www.theophilusmonroe.com.
