Ember has literally hit rock bottom. Having survived a difficult childhood she falls for Graham, who at first seems like a a knight in shining armour but turns out to be a violent low life. He isolates her from all her original friends, moves her to a strange city and then in a fit of temper throws her out. Kevin comes across a beautiful young woman with the voice of an angel singing for cash on the street. The instant connection he feels is so strong he immediately offers her a room in his family's hotel and a job. This is a fantastic love story between two likeable individuals from very different backgrounds. Ember is a strong, sweet young woman whilst Kevin is a kind, compassionate, driven young man. Their love story is a little bumpy with misunderstandings and misconceptions caused by things left unsaid. A great series. This was a great story and definitely different than I thought it would be. Bridget aka Ember was down on her luck and busking in a London street when she was spotted by wealthy hotel owner, Kevin. Loads of drama but lots of romance and steamy moments for sure. I liked the slow build of the relationship. The steam started immediately but the real love in the relationship took its time. I really enjoyed Ember and Kevin's story! It's well written, a good plot with great characters. The story is fairly fast paced and quick read. Their story reminds me somewhat of a Cinderella story. Ember has had a tough life. She has done the best she can. She manages to get tied up with a not so good guy and finds her self on the street in England with no food, no money and no place to live.
