Fantastic new series about the love lives of three brothers in a dysfunctional wealthy family. The first is about Trent, the eldest son and the daughter of his father's housekeeper. Jessi loved Trent since she was a little girl growing up in the same household, although under very different circumstances. His rude behaviour breaks her heart. When he leaves she makes every effort to move on but his return shows how ineffective her efforts have been. Trent grew up a lonely little boy after his mother died and his father remarried and had another family. Forced to return home when his father falls ill he lashes out at Jessi. Only afterwards, when he realises what she means to him, can he salvage their relationship and win her back? A fantastic second chance romance where Trent only realises what he truly wants when he has lost it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really like Summer Cooper, but not every book is a winner and this one is not! Both Jessi and Trent were very one dimensional, uninteresting, and never interacted with any meaning, other than to roll in the hay. He is a world class douchebag with little or no redeeming attributes. She has pined for this guy for years, after he laughs at her, treats her like a servant, and ignores her.
