About this ebook

His nickname is Satan.... But Lord Sayden White is so much more. A charmer, a rake, and a man who refuses to follow convention.

And he bends to no woman.

Especially not a bluestocking who looks over her spectacles with enough derision to shrivel his nether regions. But even he has to confess that Miss Samantha Longnook is smart as hell. And when Sam comes to him with a proposition to help him launch a new business, it’s an offer he can’t refuse. Or is it just that her grey eyes have captured a part of him he thought long dead. Because the more time he spends with her, the more he has to wonder if her free spirit might just suit him perfectly.

This wild lord is just a means to an end…

Samantha has never been interested in convention. Nor does she wish to be subject to a man’s rule. Which is why she’s decided to use her brains to make her own way in the world. She’s done some research as she knows she can help Lord Sayden White develop a coal mine and make enough money to make certain their both successful for the rest of their lives. Never mind that the man sizzles with the sort of masculine mystery she’s spent her life ignoring. This is her chance at a bright and independent future.

But as danger and attraction build, Samantha begins to wonder if independence is actually the prize she’s after.

A willowy smart bespectacled Bluestocking is the last sort of woman that would appaeal to Lord Sayden White. Samantha Longnook isn’t looking for any kind of man. She wants her independence and the freedom to do scientific research. Sayden and Samantha have an agreement to research the bogs on his land in hopes of finding coal of quality and quantity to be profitable, since the White’s gunpowder business is waning with the end of the war. Working together, spending lots of time together may produce more than a viable coal mine and business venture. This is a well-written entertaining story. The characters are great. I found the descriptions of the gunpowder operation and the diggings in the bogs quite well done and interesting. There is drama, danger, and a familiar enemy bent on destroying the Whites. There is also fun, humor, discovery, and hope. Sayden and Sam are an odd couple at first, but it turns out they are perfect for each other. They have similar scars from the past from uncaring fathers and the need to be independent and prove themselves. Trust and love won’t come easy. Having all the White brothers and their wives here is fun. Sayden loves and appreciates them, but sometimes bothers get in the way. Lovely story. Great characters. A very unusual wedding scene. I recommend this one and look forward to the next story in The Dark Duke’s Legacy. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Her Wild White is a fun historical romance by Tammy Andresen. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Andresen has provided readers with a fantastic story populated with outstanding characters. Sayden is the youngest of the White brothers and looking to start a new business. Samantha is Sayden's sister-in-law's cousin. She's agreed to help Sayden with his business in exchange for a place to live while she does her studies of bogs. Sayden and Samantha's story is packed with drama, humor, sexy bits, action and suspense. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to my next book by Tammy Andresen. Her Wild White is book 5 of the Dark Duke's Legacy Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
