“Hang on for this completely unexpected hard-hitting ride!”—Fresh Fiction on No Holding Back

Being alone is what he wanted… All he needed was her.
Hunter Osborn left his family, his friends and his job as a park ranger after uncovering a disturbing crime scene. Haunted by nightmares and harrowing memories, Hunter relocated to an isolated property near Triple Creek, Colorado, where he lives alone and keeps his interactions with people to a minimum.

Still, Hunter can spot trouble from a mile away, and when he encounters Jodi Bentley, he knows she’s trouble of the most tempting kind—even more tempting when she moves into the run-down cabin next door. Jodi is tough as nails, sexy as hell—and clearly struggles with her own traumatic past. Hunter tries to keep his distance, but when Jodi’s life is threatened, he can’t help being drawn out of his own darkness and into hers.

The McKenzies find their way to Triple Creek, Colorado when Jodi moves there to make it on her own. Of course, the McKenzies aren’t that easily relegated to the back burner because Jodi is as good as family. Hunter has been sequestered for a year and a half trying to outrun the demons from a horrific crime scene encountered as a park ranger. These two have not only immediate chemistry, but their souls seem to recognize each other right away as well. The pieces just click into place for them as

3.5* An enjoyable start to the Osborn Brothers series. Hunter and Jodi are similar, in that they're both running/hiding/recovering from their pasts and aren't looking for any type of involvement. That all quickly changes when they spend time together, and as they figure out Jodi might be in some trouble. I always enjoy the mystery and suspense Ms. Foster adds in a lot of her books, but this one wrapped up a little too quickly for my liking. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

A great Romantic Suspense I thoroughly enjoyed. Both the mains, Hunter and Jodi, are suffering from the results of their pasts. There's sparks between them, and a kinship or recognition of each being a survivor. She's got sass a mile long along with hidden talents. Hunter also knows who she's dealing with right now and keeps a watch over her whether she likes it or not. What he doesn’t know is, who else is watching her. A fantastic spin-off series with a lot of feels, danger, action, and heat! I received an early reader's copy and am giving my own honest opinions on the story.
