After a twister uproots two chameleon friends, they are forced to find a new home. Unlikely help comes from a river elephant, who allows them into his territory. Although they have found a safe home, the chameleons desire to go out on adventures, leading to encounters with novel creatures. The theme of friendship and having adventures mix, creating a tension. However, in the end the chameleons find that having adventures works well with keeping and finding new friends.
ስለደራሲው
The author enjoys telling stories to children and his own child. In an urban setting, he helped found and taught at a progressive elementary school, featuring arts integration. His interest in animals and folk-lore led him to write these "Just so" stories, which seek to entertain and educate.
