Angel, Eddie, and the rebels hide out while they await Malefich’s recovery. Their hideout is discovered, but not by Anslo. They’re introduced to a new rebel group called Force One, led by Anton’s older brother, Theo. Leon is tired of hiding out and begins to get aggressive, even with his own people. Malefich recovers just in time for the rebel group to relocate. Angel has a plan to defeat Commander Ilych, but he needs Eddie to trust him again. During the operation, Angel finally confronts his father. The rebels decide it’s time to bring Malefich out of hiding. They plan to do it at a big event held by Anslo’s conquering forces. This time, it’s Eddie who saves the day and gets an unexpected surprise. With the citizens successfully rallied around Malefich, the first step toward peace can begin.
