Lilah freaking Love is back and she's pulled into a mystery that's got ties going to some of the top powers in the nation. The hunt is just heating up as both Kane and her are dealing with their own ghosts. I loved the deep intrigue of this mystery as well as the danger that lurks around this couple separately and together. This is a story that is built one layer at a time and I freaking love the path this author is taking me through to reach its conclusion. This ends in a cliffhanger.

I am so happy that Lilah is back. I love Lilah and Kane. This book is full of mystery and suspense. Lilah is thrown right back into a murder case but this one hits closer to home. I can’t wait until the next book.
