About this ebook

As Michael's eyes lit on a female not twenty feet away, he knew without a doubt that it was her blood that called to him and her scent that had awakened him. This female had tethered his soul and returned it to him.

SOUL SURVIVOR
He is the last of his race. The one true king of the vampires. Michael Aristov roams the nightclubs of L.A. after dark, haunted by his past and driven by his hunger. The last of the Ancient Ones, he alone has survived the destruction of his race at the hands of the slayers. Now he is forced to hunt and feed like a common vampire, a creature of lust. Nothing in this world can fulfill his needs...until he meets a woman who's everything he's ever wanted. And more.

SWEET SALVATION
Her name is Claire Thompson. Her blood is so sweet, so intoxicating—the smell alone draws Michael to her like a moth to the flame. Sly, sexy, and seductive, Claire seems to be the only mortal who can satisfy his craving and seal his fate...forever. Can she be trusted? From their very first kiss, the last true vampire sweeps Claire into a world in which darkness rules desire—and where falling in love is the greatest danger of all...in The Last True Vampire by Kate Baxter.

Dark desires and pulse pounding excitement draws the reader into an exhilarating and dangerous world as Michael finds sweet salvation in the form of his mate but discovers that she’s only human. The strong enthralling characters demand your attention as sparks fly in every direction when Michaels underestimates Claire and despite her burning attraction for Michaels fights him every step of the way. The fast paced and smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, action and romance and the emotional angst adds depth and grips the heart while hot and steamy sex scenes add lots of sizzling passion. Expectation and excitement builds as the vampire’s enemies strike once again and the danger continues to escalate throughout the story while Michael struggles to reconcile his relationship, desires and Claire’s being human. Meanwhile, there is tension building in other parts of the vampire world as not all of the dhampir’s agree with Michael being their king and cause some heated encounters as well. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and bring the story to vibrant life while the well-orchestrated events ensure that there is never a dull moment and some unexpected surprises keep the readers guessing. The author has taken the more traditional vampire lore and weaves in a few unique twists to spice things up and created a fascinating sensual vampire world full of captivating and sexy characters that make the heart pound and pulse race with delicious anticipation. I was positively enthralled by it and I can’t wait to find out what happens next. 4 ½ STARS
