Each of the books in the CT Ferguson series is filled with mystery, action & great characters, not least of them being CT himself. In The Blood is possibly the best of the series so far with CT taking on a fairly simple case that leads to far harder problems. CT is pushed far further than he’s ever been pushed before & it takes a far greater toll on him personally. When he’s attacked & badly injured, first he’ll need to survive, then he’ll need to find out why he was targeted and by whom? This is a great read even if a bit different from our usual CT adventures that has all the traits of the author’s writing; snappy dialogue; fast paced action scenes: & a great mystery too. I know it’s become something of a cliche these days but I genuinely found this one hard to put down. I was hooked right from the start & enjoyed every twist and turn along the way. The question is will the events of this story change CT forever? I can’t wait to find out. Recommended to all crime mystery lovers.
