Really devoid of place descriptions events or any sort of Action untill the
end a real slow slog of a read. Totally unlike the earlier books. Will
totally not bother with the fourth. Really shame :(

I'm not big on reading anything . pc gaming is just more fun. but trudi's books has something i can't get in a game or on netfix . gg hope we se more of this series . hope the next book isn't the last

Big fan of the author, unfortunately this book felt a little lost. A fair
chunk of the plot seemed to be filler. Such a shame.
About the author
Trudi Canavan published her first story in 1999 and it received an Aurealis Award for Best Fantasy Short Story. Her debut series, the Black Magician trilogy, made her an international success, and all three volumes of her Age of the Five trilogy were Sunday Times bestsellers. Trudi Canavan lives with her partner in Melbourne, Australia, and spends her time writing, painting and weaving.
