Hidden. So many of us keep parts of ourselves hidden. Alpha Harley Grant doesn't let her inner wolf out, believing its not possible, She is still a valued and trusty member of STAT and when they are overseas, finding themselves working with MI6 she is drawn to Sawyer. Sawyer who keeps his werewolf status hidden from his teammates. Book 2 in the STAT series can be read as a stand alone but I think one would appreciate all the new nasty paranormals if book 1 is read first. Paige Tyler opens a whole new realm of paranormals that are really out there, the possibilities of where we are headed are astronomical. This book has action, suspense and romance, intrigue, and paranormals that can do wonderous things, but also evil. There is treachery and the knowledge one will do almost anything to protect family. I am enthralled with this new expanded paranormal world Paige has taken us too, It is mind boggling! The second STAT book has the team going to their very limits to save countries and themselves. The paranormal world has gotten past scary to terrifying. The STAT team works along with MI6 to stop a grade A psychopath and his crazied minions from his twisted deeds. Woven into this story is the heated sexual attraction between Harley and Sawyer. The banter between them and the team adds depth and laugh out loud moments. An entertaining story that has it all from suspense, mystery, the unusual, scenery, unexpected and on.
