Acerca deste libro electrónico

Undifferentiated connective tissue disease (UCTD) is a term used to describe a group of conditions that share some but not all features of the more common connective tissue diseases. For now, there isn’t any data regarding the statistics of Americans who are diagnosed with UCTD. However, according to small cases extrapolated by researchers and experts, about 72% of UCTD patients are of the White race. About 78% of patients were females.

This is a disease characterized by the body mistaking its tissues for enemies and attacking them. It is a type of connective tissue disease and is considered differently because even though the symptoms of UCTD resemble those of different types of connective tissue disease, they are not specific to any particular type of these diseases. UCTD has also been referred to as mixed connective tissue disease even though some researchers believe that they are clinically distinct conditions.

In every state of health, nutrition plays a great role in improving and sustaining the immune system of every person. For people living with UCTD, nutrition is a major tool used in the management of the disease. There are other natural methods aside from nutrition that are combined in different ways to improve the living conditions of those living with UCTD. The key to maintaining a long and healthy lifestyle is in working with your physician to understand what works for your body and how best to relieve and prevent the symptoms.
