This one started out a little harsh, but once some things cleared up, turned very sweet and hot. I was a little worried at first, but really shouldn't have been, since the author has a way of making things better, even in the short amounts of time. Loved this story and how these two had a past friendship before running into each other a decade later. I'm happy with how things turned out. I'm also still loving this world. Some of the books have a little more world-building than others, but I've loved them all. This is a great series for when you need something with low-angst, but plenty of heat.

This is the 8th, and final, book in this series of short, sexy reads. It's packed full of emotional turmoil, angst, passion, and steam. Russt and Morwenna have a history that added some depth to this one that I really enjoyed. The story may be light on plot and heavy on steam, but this history made it seem like there was more plot than in the previous stories. It made my connection to these characters, and my investment in their relationship much stronger. Ms. Bonds ended this series with a bang.

I have really LOVED this series! Each couple has been a great one and I've loved this part of V.T. Bonds Knottiverse and the Waterworld theme. I'm just dead this is the last one in the series! I think these will be rereads for sure! Russt was a great Alpha. And Morwenna was another great Omega! I loved how they grew up together before they were forced apart. I am sad there won't be more books because I loved these so much!
