The Lost Sacrifice – Book 2: In this 2nd book, the heroine (whose name, we learn, is Nari) finds herself ripped from the demon (Brecht) and the werewolf (Arctos) she has become bonded to. Despite learning she has her own magic skills, she is not invulnerable. As she fades away from her lifemates, they command her to remember them. They will never give up searching for her. When she awakens she experiences the nothingness of a type of purgatory. She has no will of her own, no identity, no knowledge of where she is or how she got there—until, finally, a memory begins to appear: a horned, red-skinned giant and a creature of some type. Every day the memory grows stronger. The Lost Sacrifice is another chillingly spooky and unearthly tale, well-written by this author, although I felt the tale wasn’t quite as captivating to me as the other two in this trilogy. However, it was an excellent bridge between the first and last books. 4.5 Stars. [I received an advanced reader copy of this book and I am providing my honest, unbiased review of it here.]

I found V.T. Bond’s 2nd book fascinating, surprising enduring and very intriguing. The 1st book had various delicious sex scenes; this book takes us on a journey into Nari’s afterlife. Nari and her mates developed a special bond through their mating in the 1st installment gaining a very strong emotional connection. Nari has even develop her on magical powers that compliment both her mate’s needs. So, when Nari is taking away from her mates, her feelings of depression are very convincing. The character development was great and the author introduces four new characters. This story never got boring and was a page turner. I am definitely excited to read the 3rd and final installment. A great Halloween read!

In the second installment we learn the little witches name- Nari. Naris lost soul was kept hidden from her mates for twenty years. Arc tos her werewolf and Brecht her demon kept Naris body preseved while they searched for her soul for twenty years while slowly going insane! The love and devotion they portray for their mate is so endearing but will they find their lost love or will they succumb to insanity? I received an ARC and this is my honest review.
