This was the absolute perfect ending to this trilogy! I was definitely on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading, and my mind is still reeling at what I've read. The end of their story is action packed from beginning to end, but what really matters is the emotional journey they have to go through to get to their HEA. And I have to admit to shedding a tear or two, right at the end. Alexander and Alena are two of the most stubborn characters! Ever! They both think they know everything, and neither one give an inch! I was totally frustrated with them, and began to wonder what the author could possibly pull out of her magic hat of tricks to make a HEA possible! I should have known better than to doubt her though. Through an amazing turn of events, I realized that anything was possible, and that this author still has the power to create a story that makes me smile, laugh, and cry, all at the same time. I think this trilogy is my favorite out of all of the Orchid Club stories, and I think I'm going to go back and read them all again!

Lila Dubois is such a fabulous storyteller!! I absolutely love the way she weaves every story she writes! I can only begin to understand the complexity of Lila Dubois’ imagination and her dedication. She has a talent for combining a “can’t put it down” action packed story with vivid descriptions, strong emotions and even some humor. Again, in this last part of the Vienna Trilogy, Alena and Alexander go through a myriad of events that send the reader on the most delicious of adventures. I thought I was going to cry at the end, I couldn’t believe she would end it this way… but then… Bravo Lila!! I absolutely loved the ride!

There weren’t any great shocks in this story, you knew it had to come to an HEA, but there were definitely some twists to getting there that I didn’t expect. Alexander and Alena were so stubborn, like really, really stubborn. The fact that they clearly cared for each other was evident, but doing what was right rather than what was right for them tripped them up several times. Finally, finally, they figured it out after more than a few painful bumps in the road!
