Killer Insight

This book was filled with suspense from the beginning! Lucy was out for a run when she was assaulted by the very serial killer she was there to profile and help catch. Too many young women had already lost their lives in this small community to this murderer. I had figured out who the killer was by the time I was halfway done with the book. However, there was a little bit of a twist at the end that I was glad for because it made it feel like there was still something for me to be surprised by. One thing that bothered me was how much Lucy kept blaming herself for what her deceased fiance had done. She thought she didn't deserve good things because of something she had nothing to do with. I received a copy of this book from the author. All opinions in this review are my own.

The story starts fast; there's no gentle, easing into it. My attention was captured and held throughout the book. I read the book in one evening. I loved the main characters, Lucy and Bryce. They are good-hearted and likable. They both have an issue or two to work through. Bryce's daughter Meghan is a wonderful addition to the tension and to the romance, as well as adding a little humor. The plot twists and turns and is full of action. There's a great HEA in the epilogue. I recommend this book to readers of clean/wholesome romantic suspense and to Christian romantic suspense readers. I received a complimentary copy. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this well-written romantic suspense.

Amazing, thrilling, and so much more! Killer Insight is the 4th and last book in the Covert Operatives Series and I think Virginia saved the best for last! I read this book from beginning to end in a day, it was that good! FBI profiler Lucy is in town to profile a serial killer and finds herself a victim. I thought I had figured out the killer but I was wrong! This book is a must read! Lucy is doubting her abilities because of something that happened in her past. She has to learn to put her trust fully in God before she can really trust in her abilities. Thankfully she has Bryce who trusts in her and more importantly in God.
