Once again forced me to throw out some of my theories Kay, a newer lawyer, has set the course she wants to take the case for her client while Reese, a detective turned crime scene investigator, is looking to get back at it after the events in Fraud. As the story progresses things still look a little bleak, his plans need a tweak, and once a hand is played the outcome is anything but meek. W.L. Knightly once again forced me to throw out some of my theories in Misdeed. I thought I had a clear idea, but apparently I was looking from the wrong window. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

The suspense and mystery behind everything keeps getting more intriguing and we are finding out more information. Things between Kay and Scott change and more clues are revealed. Milo is not giving up even though Captain Riles took his case away. He gets more information from Marnie without her realizing it. I thought I had it figured out who was doing all the killing but with the new clues it changes everything.

I do not know what to expect next. This series keeps me wanting to read more. Kay is being investigated, but the main inspector is taken off the case. Very suspenseful. Waiting for the next episode.
