A mysterious midnight phone call, bypassed security measures, and family that make starving hyenas look civilized. That sounds like the perfect setting for murder. There’s a feeling of the classic Clue boardgame about this book. But I suspect that very few of the characters gathered under the roof of Fox Nettle are anywhere near as wholesome as that family game would imply. And as we got to know more about the living and the dead members of the Murphy clan, the more invested I became

What a start.....loved this book straight away. Without saying specific details, it is full of happiness until someone is murdered, then money hungry family members arrive to the house, one by one and want to take over. Now there is alot of mystery, suspects, family fueding, and then another murder appears to of happened to another family member. It was also goodto get to know all of the characters. Cannot wait for the next book....

Beloved in the community Samuel Murphy is murdered in his home. Rachel Harris is the house manager that he made in charge of the finances. Samuel had changed his will to give his nephew, Lucas the bulk of the estate. But the will is lost and his sisters have showed up to claim what they can. Another murder in the house leaves us wanting the next episode.
