This was a phenomenal read of an exiting new voice. The plot was well thought out and kept me captivated from start 'till finish. It is very fast paced and never missed a beat. The charters were fleshed out and believable. I felt strongly for them. Their heartaches were mine and I shared in their joys. They were diverse and each had their own voice. The setting and the world-building were great and the magic system very interesting. The way it ended though really makes me hunger for more!! like right now!!! I need to see my babies again and hopefully the author will be good to them. Hafsah Faizal managed to make it to my auto-buy list with only her debut novel. Whatever she may put out, I will be there pre-ordering it.
