Wow....got the end and it just ended. I totally was looking for the story to go on. So keeps fingers crosses that there will be a sequel soon, as I want to know what happens to Kiki aka Queen and King! What a story, definitely a page turner that I hated to put down. This was my first read by Wendy and I enjoyed it. Patiently waiting for the sequel.

I can't stand first person books, but I thought this was an interesting book. Even though, her writing got on my nerves at times. And there was some major editing problems too

It was more than I expected, relatable on so many levels. As a native New Yorker who knows what it means to "make it" and still have your rough upbringing be a part of your fiber. Great literary effort Wendy. Really hope there is a part 2!
