I had loved the previous book, Wicked Lust, and it was a given I was going to read WICKED NEED, while waiting for Bridger’s, of course! We had met both Cat and Rand before, albeit mostly in sexual situations at The Silo, a sex club. WICKED NEED picks up precisely where Wicked Lust left off, however it can easily be read as a standalone. Cat is now widowed and has been left penniless by her late husband – or is her husband the reason she is destitute? Rand, who knew her from The Silo, sees her sleeping in her car, and asks her to come home with him. Rand has a “White Knight” complex – he cannot help himself from rescuing damsels in distress – and he doesn’t apologise for the way he is. Rand is a particularly delicious character: a real gentleman, really sweet and considerate. Poor Cat has made too many bad choices in her sad life, but she slowly understands that she can make changes and, with Rand’s help, she begins to “woman up”. I love how Cat takes it one step at a time: nothing is rushed, and it was a pleasure to watch her become more assertive. Cat and Rand are both physically attracted to each other, but they also understand each other, and Rand is willing to give her all the space she needs, even if she doesn’t choose him. He honestly wants her to get her life back, and that was so nice for a change: to see a man who is sure of himself, confident, and not push the poor thing. Cat is not pathetic, far from it, but she is young and for the first time, she is allowed to do what she wants and hope for a better future as well. Even given that the environment is the same, that is characters from The Silo and their mates, the tone WICKED NEED is a world away from Wicked Lust. WICKED NEED is written from Rand and Cat’s points of views, and it is gentler and not as sexually wild, but definitely not tame! It just reflects Cat and Rand’s personalities perfectly. I also marvel at Ms. Bennett exemplary use of language, as the more I read, the more I found how differently Rand and Cat express themselves, again as compared to Cain and Sloane. In a way, WICKED NEED reads a bit as a suspense, at least as far as I’m concerned, in following Cat’s personal growth and trying to find answers to unanswered questions. There were some exquisitely painful passages where Cat looks back on her life and the choices she made, and every woman should be so lucky as to find herself a Rand Bishop. The story unfolds as I wished it, and this definitely does not mean the author took the easy way out, but that she let her characters deal with their issues; it was simply perfect. And what a beautiful and emotional ending! Sawyer Bennett hasn’t failed to impress me yet: WICKED NEED is another superb book by this very talented author. Now on to the next book in this fantastic series! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wicked Need--Book 3 in Wicked Horse series by Sawyer Bennett is a great read. It can be read as a standalone but you understand so much more if you have read Book 1 & 2 in the Wicked Horse series. I was given this. Rand Bishop is a busy man, he works at a Tattoo shop as a designer of tattoos and is a Fantasy Maker at The Silo which he loves. “I may spend a lot of time at a sex club, but I’m not one of those guys with emotional barriers who uses no-strings sex as a way to keep women at arm’s length. I’m a snuggler to the core. I don’t care if it’s a one night stand or the love of my life. After sex there’s nothing better than spooning and drifting off to sleep.” Cat Lyons, who we met as Catherine Vaughan at the Silo, has lost her husband Samuel. She is a member and Rand finds her in her car in the parking lot. Thus starts an adventure of discovery on several planes for Cat and Rand. Cat finds that- “My body goes utterly still and then a phenomenon happens to me that has never happened before in my life … I blink my eyes hard to chase away the sting of tears I feel forming over a man I barely know who is telling me he’s my champion. It’s unbelievable to me.” Oh My Gosh -I finished Wicked Need and Rand Bishop is to die for. The more I find out about Bridger -the more I love him; but All the Guys are going to have a hard time surpassing Rand. The angst and twist in Wicked Need involve more that just Rand and Cat. They are unexpected and make this a page turning read that is a 10 stars from me so 5 is easy peasy. Sawyer Bennett is a wonderful storyteller and this series should be on your To Be Read list. I can not wait for the next story from Sawyer Bennett’s Wicked Horse Guys. Thanks Sawyer Bennett & Good Writing

: WICKED NEED is the third installment in Sawyer Bennett’s contemporary, adult THE WICKED HORSE erotic, romance series. This is former Olympian and The Silo’s Fantasy Maker Rand Bishop, and Catherine (Cat) Lyons Vaughn’s story line. WICKED NEED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from previous story lines is revealed where necessary. NOTE: WICKED NEED contains scenes of MM/ MMF/ MF sexual situations including anal, as well as reference to BDSM, multiple partners, gang sex and sexual situations that may be triggers for some readers. Told from dual first person points of view (Rand and Cat) WICKED NEED focuses on Cat Lyons following the death of her husband- an elderly man Cat married for money-but a man who used Cat for his sexually, deviant pleasures. Homeless and without any source of income, Cat finds herself the house guest of Rand Bishop-The Silo’s ‘fantasy maker’-and the man who will come to Cat’s rescue when she needs it the most. Hoping to discover the truth behind Cat’s ‘push to the curb’, Rand begins an investigation of his own as to why Cat has been left penniless, homeless, and without a clear, cut version of her late husband’s will. What ensues is the building relationship between Cat and Rand, and Rand’s need to give Cat everything that she wants and needs. Rand Bishop has been accused of having ‘White Knight Syndrome’. He has a need to ‘save’ and ‘rescue’ the less fortunate, and Cat Lyons is his latest target. Cat’s past has formed her present; from poverty and neglect, Cat found herself looking for the first convenient way out, and at the lowest point in her life when she married an older man-for money and security. But security is not all that it is cracked up to be when Cat finds herself the sexual plaything of her husband’s depravity and need to humiliate his younger wife. Left with nothing upon her husband’s death, Cat becomes Rand’s latest rescue, and the man with whom she will fall in love. The relationship between Cat and Rand begins prior to their introduction in WICKED NEED. Cat was a regular member at The Silo, and Rand was one of her many partners along with the Club owners, their partners, and any number of men and women who ventured into Cat’s life at the exclusive club. The $ex scenes are numerous, graphic, detailed, aggressive and intense. Nothing is off limits for our story line heroine or hero-Cat is a woman who believes she is not worthy of love and affection. The world building continues to focus on The Wicked Horse, and The Silo but in WICKED NEED both clubs take a step back from the story line premise. WICKED NEED follows our couple outside of The Silo, into their public and private lives, friendships and family, including the search for the truth about Cat’s past. WICKED NEED is an engaging and erotic story line with some controversial scenarios and intimate $ex scenes. The premise is provocative and spirited; the characters are impassioned, sexual and sensitive; the romance is emotional and intense. Sawyer Bennett weaves a tale of wicked seduction !
