He was a Takemi Fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health, and Professor at Fudan University and Chief Physician at Zhongshan Hospital and the East Hospital, China. Dr. Sun has served as the Vice President of the Shanghai Medical Association, the Vice President of the Shanghai Medical Doctor Association, the Vice Chairman of the Chinese Medical Association General Practice Branch, and President of the Shanghai Community Health Association.
