“Single mothers are heroes, but superheroes don’t exist. Cut yourself some slack. You can’t do the work for him.” The last book in this series and we’ve come full circle. Pieces of our last cult book preside here as well as family and characters from the beginning. Family and foe, the past and the present. Second chances. It was a good ending to this series and had me guessing the entire time. I received an ARC of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This is a seriously intense case of good versus evil as a sheriff and a deputy chase down a serial killer in the modern Wild West. The characters are relatable and dynamic and the plot is fast paced and exciting. I received a complimentary copy of this book, and all opinions expressed are my own.
