Violet has known Ramsey and his best friend Hunter since college. Reflecting on the past and full of nostalgia, Violet realizes that she truly misses Ramsey. Can she get past her heartache and the reasons for their breakup to give him a second chance? I liked Violet’s character – smart, witty and dedicated to helping the teens at the shelter. I enjoyed her complex relationship with the two men, but especially their deep connection of friendship and love. The story is a quick read with likeable and well-defined characters. There’s plenty of humour, drama, angst, some secrecy and super-hot chemistry, along with several seriously steamy M/F, M/F/M and M/M encounters. The characters are complex, genuine and realistic with traits and qualities that balance and blend, with amazing depth and diversity and enough spice to add an extra kick to the mix. Throw in 100% on point realism, raising the stakes with such graphic scenarios that are so colorfully descriptive and vividly detailed its like you're living it with them instead of on the sidelines.
