About this ebook

He runs in high society circles…and he’s running circles around her heart.

In retrospect, it was all Gran’s fault.

Logan Montgomery has found his niche as an assistant district attorney. But Gran just revealed some worrying intel—dear old dad and his political cronies are about to maneuver him into running for mayor.

But Gran has a plan. A pre-emptive strike involving a pretty blonde caterer with supple curves—and a family history literally dripping with scandal. There’s just one flaw in his grandmother's scheme: Logan’s not a player. And there’s a delicious spark of attraction that makes him want to try for something special with Catherine Luck.

It’s a mystery to Catherine why Logan, who sits at the very top of the social ladder, would even look twice at someone like her. Maybe he has a thing for disgraced, overworked caterers. But his gentle concern, delivered in that velvety chocolate voice, can’t be real and Cat knows better than to mix business with pleasure.

Raw desire and genuine affection unexpectedly tip them into forbidden territory—love. Until Catherine gets a stark reminder that the Montgomerys never do anything without an ulterior motive.

Which means Catherine’s luck in love is about to run out ...

4.25⭐ The second story in this reissued series is a rags to riches tale that's a joy to read. Thanks to the main characters Cat and Logan but especially Logan's gran Emma. Who devises a plan to get Logan and Cat together and scupper Logan's dads plan to have him run for mayor. And with little angst, plenty of chemistry this really was a delightful entertaining read. That I'd happily recommend to others. **Copy provided via BookSprout in exchange for an honest review**

I really liked Logan and Catherine's story. An engaging blend of emotion, drama, sweetness and a bit of cuteness welcomes you in and has you more than happy to stick around to see how things work out for these two. This couple's chemistry was undeniable and I couldn't resist actively rooting for them to get a HEA. This is my frank, freely posted review.

This is book 2 in the Simply series and it features Logan Montgomery and Catherine Luck. The scandalous part would be Logan‘s family, in particular his wealthy father. The other scandalous part would be his very nosy, intrusive, well intentioned and extremely loved grandmother, Emma. This grandmother makes ZERO apologies for her meddling, which is super funny. This is an insta-love story with fantastic characters. The story line dealt with a beautiful romance but was told with very little background or filler story. It could’ve easily been a longer book. Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed reading it.
