About this ebook

Brady Collins is juggling full-time fatherhood with the booming auto repair business he runs out of his barn. His ex-wife's sudden death has shaken him, but the devastating news that follows leaves him reeling: Sam is not his biological son.

When Sam's wealthy maternal grandparents decide they want custody of the child, Brady knows he's in for the fight of his life. Brady's attorney tips him off that one major life change would virtually assure him of winning guardianship of baby Sam at the final hearing: the stability of an impending marriage. And his friend Hope is willing to step in as the loving and devoted fiancée.

Local radio celebrity Hope Daniels has been driven by a solitary goal her entire life, and she's finally been offered her dream job—in Atlanta. Unfortunately, her arrangement with Brady requires her presence in Copper Creek, and she is faced with missing the chance of a lifetime or standing in the way of a dear friend’s dreams.

Both Hope and Brady would give their lives for beautiful Sam. But can they give their trust to one another? With this new novel in the Blue Ridge Romance series, Honeysuckle Dreams shines light on the complicated and beautiful angles of love.

What can I say about Denise Hunters writing? Every book I have read of hers I have loved and I have read about 25 of them so far. She has a beautiful way of using words. An example of this, “There was warmth and affection in his gaze. A tender caring that made her want to stretch toward him like a sunflower reaching toward the sun's heat.” This story Honeysuckle Dreams is the second book in her Blue Ridge Romance series. But it is a great stand alone book. It's about Brady Collins and Hope Daniels. Hope and Brady are best friends, along with Brady's sister Zoe. They have grown up together and are all very close. Both Hope and Brady have suffered loss and heartache. Brady finds himself to be a single dad with a six month old little baby Sam. The baby was pretty much dropped off to him when he learns that his ex Audrey, Sam's mom, has died. He has a business to run and he is trying to do what's best for Sam. But he is not sure how single moms do it alone. With babysitting help from Hope and a few other ladies in their church, Brady is getting by, but just barely. Brady's ex in-laws have a lawyer and are threatening to take Sam away. Hope would be willing to do anything to help out her best friend, including a marriage of convenience. It has been said the best kind of marriage starts out with best friends. Will that be true for Brady and Hope? Can they find healing, hope, and a new beginning. God may have a different--and better--future planned for them than either could imagine. This is a book unlike any I have read before. To put that into perspective I’ve probably read hundreds. I was filled with joy, almost brought to tears, and biting my nails nervously. Let me just say, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I absolutely loved the characters and loved how I got to know them a lot more through out the story. I originally met Brady and Hope in Blue Ridge Sunrise and loved them then. Don’t worry, if you haven’t read the first book I think you’ll still enjoy this one. I was taken on a journey through heartbreak and hope and enjoyed every minute of it. Both characters had some rude awakenings and they both had to learn to trust in God to get them through it. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Contemporary Romance and something that is one of a kind. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the Blue Ridge Romance series. I received a copy of this book from HarperCollins Publishers and was in no way forced to post a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
