The series finale, the book I've been waiting for.... Cole Hartman's story!!! This isn't the start of his story, we read about Cole, Danni and Trace in the Tangled Lies trilogy. If you haven't read them and want the full background on Cole then I suggest you read these before reading this, otherwise this is easily read as a standalone in the Deliver series without his background, just going off what you have learnt about him through this series. Cole has watched his new team mates pair up with partners for the last few years, he is the only one left on his own. But he is broken from his split with his ex, his heart broken into pieces and he never expects anyone to be able to replace her. I wasn't sure about Lydia at first with everything that happened. You knew there must be a reason for what she was doing, and as you learned about her past and what she had been through you could understand why. Together Cole and Lydia turned out to be spectacularly explosive. Cole was raw, brutal, passionate and possessive when it came to Lydia. She had gotten under his skin and just had to find out why she was doing what she was doing. She became his obsession, as he stalked and followed her all over the world for several months. Lydia is a great match for Cole, she is not a damsel in distress that needs saving, she is a woman on a mission and will stop at nothing to succeed. We are treated to a past paced, adrenaline fueled ride as Cole, Lydia and the Team are in a race against time to bring down a major player. A brilliant and fitting end to this series that I have loved and enjoyed from the start...... it's dark, gritty and powerful storylines will push your boundaries, so get this series read if you haven't yet done so!

Wonderful finale to a spectacular series! I was so excited for this final, 9th book, and Cole's story! But now I'm so sad because the series is over! The elusive and pragmatic Cole is finally brought to his knees by the voluptuous and beautiful Russian spy Lydia. He is so strong and virile but has met his match in in this gorgeous woman. This story takes the reader on an intense and exciting tour around the world. We are exposed to espionage, intrigue, and passion in this well written and much loved final story. If you have not started this series I highly recommend you do!

Pam Godwin has woven a rich tapestry, and the threads wind through these twelve books. (Nine in the Deliver Series, and three in the Tangled Lies Trilogy) Cole is an enigma, and his story is powerful. He finally gets his HEA, and he and Lydia are amazing together. This can be read as a stand alone, but it is so much better read in order as a series. This is a one-click author for me, and this story does not disappoint.
