Jeremy's story - YAY!!!! Bonus - it's fantastic! After having his heart handed to him three years ago Jeremy has been happy living his life free of commitments. A good pint of ale and a beautiful woman was all he needed. Meeting Grace, the beautiful massage therapist, was never part of his plan. Add in the fact that she is currently doing a man-cleanse and he knows he should run - fast. Yet he can't. Something about her calls to him. Could she be the one that he could open his heart to or will she end up hurting him too? Put this on the must read list. I highly recommend it.

After a very bad break-up, Grace Bailey saw a book that promised that a 6-month cleanse would improve her outlook on life. No sex, not even kissing, and getting rid of all things negative in her life. She could do that, and it helped. Jeremy Denning also went through a bad break-up, albeit 3 years ago. Jeremy dabbles. Jeremy also refuses to commit to anything since then, even though his friend at the bar where Jeremy works offered him to make partners, he still hesitates. But still, Jeremy agreed to attend brewing courses. After an excruciating 8-hour lecture on brewing, Jeremy’s back is killing him, so he makes an appointment with a massage therapist. And she is truly lovely. Grace Bailey is his massage therapist. And this, dear readers, is but the beginning of a fabulous romance! When I picked up WORTH THE WAIT, I barely glanced at the blurb, because I had been so impressed by the author’s previous book THREE SIMPLE WORDS. And I can say that I love Ms. Pine even more now! The author probably gives the most innovative twist to the ubiquitous “sworn-off-men” trope, and makes it totally original and fresh. The writing is excellent, so fluid and easy to read; the dialogues are witty and terrific throughout; and the author breathes life in every single character. WORTH THE WAIT is full of life, emotion, and so much fun! The chemistry between Jeremy and Grace sparks and crackles; I simply adored these two very appealing characters. They deserved to find love, and they do through honesty, respect, and caring. There is nothing predictable in WORTH THE WAIT, even when it comes to the troublesome exes; there is no unnecessary drama, and still nothing happens the way you expect. WORTH THE WAIT is a fabulous book, truly original, and a total delight from beginning to end. I cannot wait to see what the immensely talented A.J. Pine has in store for us next, but I’m ready! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

After a horrible breakup, Grace follows the advice of a popular book to cleanse her life of all negativity. She is three months into her six month cleanse when she meets Jeremy. Jeremy went through a horrible break up of his own three years ago and hasn't committed to anything since. When Grace and Jeremy keep running into together, they agree to friendship since Grace isn't willing to break her cleanse. When Jeremy's ex, the weather girl at the local news station, hears of Grace's cleanse, she pitches it as a puff piece to boost ratings. When Grace has to go on dates for the story, Jeremy agrees to be her wingman but after seeing a few, decides that the man that Grace is going to kiss in three months is him. With a partnership in Kingston Ale House on the table, can Jeremy commit to another thing? This story was so bittersweet for me. I loved this series and am so sad to see it end. I couldn't put down Jeremy and Grace's story. Separately, these two had so much to get together. Jeremy and his lack of commitment and Grace and all of her secrets. Together, these two were a powerhouse. With Grace swearing off men and Jeremy's ex back in town, I thought this book would have a ton of angst but, while there was some drama, it definitely wasn't a huge part of the story. These two opposites complemented each other so perfectly that I never wanted the story to end. While I'm sad to goodbye to this series, I am really looking forward to what comes next from this author! *This is my voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy*
