From the second paragraph: "It was a chilly spring night, the castle was drafty and cold; no doubt from the feeble craftsmanship of dull human hands. The Senashow hated these old human dwellings. They were so poorly made they didn't even keep out the cold. It was cold at home too, but at least there the stonework kept out the." You can see how these sentences are redundant, and error ridden. Any editor should have noticed this. But these mistakes are everywhere, and I couldn't keep reading.

I love the story, but the content is lacking and left me disappointed. The story had so much potential to be an instant classic, yet the poor editing, incorrect use of certain words, and gaping holes in the plot and storyline left me depressed. This series does have its shining moments, but they're spread to thin.

There is a lot of introspection and feelings through out the book that may turn readers off. The last area in the book felt rushed and underdeveloped as well.
