Eileen Aberman-Wells
Elle and Sawyer’s love story in Sleepover by Serena Bell, book three in her Under One Roof series, is a wonderful, heartwarming romance between a grumpy widower and a sunshiny divorcee. After her divorce to her cheating ex was finalized, Elle was looking for a one-night fling. She thought she found it, until tall, dark, and broody ends up being her new neighbor and the father of her son's new best friend. Sawyer never hooks up with the same woman twice since he lost his wife, so finding Elle, a woman he hooked up with outside a bar months ago, just became his new neighbor shouldn't be a problem; except it is. Both Elle and Sawyer are not yet ready to start a new relationship. Both are trying to fight their mutual attraction and sizzling chemistry, but failing; making things a bit complicated. Ms. Bell wrote a wonderful, emotional, and heartwarming story that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with sizzling chemistry, strong magnetism, family dynamics, clever banter, the magic of love, and endearing characters giving Elle and Sawyer a second chance for love, happiness, and a future neither expected. I highly recommend Sleepover to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Joy from that other email
This is a story from one of my new favorite authors. It is the third book of a series but I didn't know it until it was too late. I don't think it mattered. I loved this story. Sawyer was very loveable and sweet yet still very masculine. Perfect. Elle was great. Funny and outgoing but still soft and loving when it came to those she loved and cared about. Both single parents with unhappy back stories. These two had honest, respectful, excellent communication. Refreshing. This book was well written and had a great realistic plot, low angst, witty dialogue, great chemistry, and wonderful side characters. I have only read a few books by this author but I can't wait to read more. I definitely recommend this book.

Loved this story! It was very well-packaged with elements of romance, comedy and drama perfectly-balanced to make you laugh and cry at one point or another. It is a story of healing both from loss and betrayal made relatable by very well written characters.
