Wondering once again just what is going on Sarah, a journalist, is now working for the police as the Public Information Officer and still runs into Ethan, an FBI agent, since he is working on a high-profile murder case in Los Angeles. As the story progresses a few secrets come out, deception is laid, and the trail could turn more dangerous than they want. W.L. Knightly had the gall to switch tactics in But I Love You … and leave me wondering once again just what is going on. The walls are closing in on an unknown room for the reader to find. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Still on the Edge. The Angst, the Twists, the Suspense. The story continues. You MUST read the books in this series in order (and they are well worth the read if a really great story is for you). His fiancée is missing, her sister is missing and everyone around them ends of up dead! Our leads dry up soon after they appear and a serial killer is literally getting away with murder. The race is on and our "heroes" are still not sure where to go (and neither is the reader). The WL Knightly team continues to impress with the suspense, lack of whodunit (usually I know the ending way before the midpoint of a book and this series leaves me hanging in the air). I Love them! If you want an easy answer, this is NOT for you! Great read! Can't wait for the next one so I can get off this cliff.......

That ending! It’s utterly cruel to leave us hanging there. And in so many ways, everything else that happened in this book has kind of been wiped from my mind with where and how this one closes. Even though I know better than to try to outthink the author, it doesn’t stop me from trying. I’m overjoyed to realize that I have predicted some of the things that have come to pass, but there’s so much more going on that I had never guessed at. Now that we know the secret behind one of the biggest mysteries of the series: the identity of the killer, I’m all the more desperate to know more. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
