I was excited to be back in the Wynn Hockey Series world and Game Changer was everything I expected and more, Game Changer is the fifth book in the series and it’s Jackson (Jax) Wynn and Molly Flynn’s story. Ms Jamieson really has a way with words, she gives you characters you can’t help falling in love with and she touches on everyday problems that we can all relate to which makes me feel like I’m catching up with old friends with every book I pick up in this series. What do you do when you find out just before you walk down the aisle that your fiancée is cheating on you, hard decision, do you walk away, do you go through with the wedding and work it out later or do you walk down the aisle and shame him before making a run for it, well when a Molly finds herself in this predicament she calls on her friend Jax for help, problem is he is also her fiancée’s teammate. Jax knows helping Molly could come back to bite him in many ways but he does what any good friend would do and that’s help her escape but another problem is he is off to visit his family and really has no option but to take Molly along hoping in his heart that she can deal with the crazy world of hockey royalty the Wynn family..... I love this family, they may be eccentric and unconventional but they are a family who loves with all their hearts and they welcome Molly with open arms. Great addition to one of my favourite hockey series, this is an entertaining read with wonderful characters, it’s well written and I can’t wait for more from the Wynn world.

Game Changer is the fifth book in the Wynn Hockey series and this is great addition to the first four books. Molly Flynn thought that her wedding day was going to be the happiest of her life, not a day that ended in absolute pandemonium. She was set to marry Steve, a hockey player for the Chicago Aces, however instead of saying her vows, she reads texts calling out her cheating fiance. Jackson "Jax" Wynn, a teammate of Steve's and the trivia partner of Molly, has come to their wedding with plans to head out to California to deal with some family drama the following day. What he wasn't expecting is when he went to check on his friend Molly following the wedding being called off that he'd be letting her stay at his house that night so no one would find her. Least of all, he didn't expect to be talked into her going with him to California. Needless to say, Jax isn't looking forward having to deal with his family and he tries to warn Molly about all of the different dynamics she's going to encounter while visiting the West Coast. She's all in for the trip and in all honesty she's excited. While these two have only been friends, will spending this time together in Cali and then additional time in Canada lead to more developing? Can they help each other through the things they are each dealing with and help one another heal? I always enjoy Kelly Jamieson's books. The stories are always solid and these characters feel a bit like family to me these days as I'm so invested in all the goings on with them and I want everything to work out for everyone. What I also enjoy is that if you've read all the books you can't wait to find out what's next for the Wynn family, but if you're new to the series you can read the book without being lost at all. Another really enjoyable addition to the series!

5 Star Review of For Game Charger (Wynn Hockey #5) by Kelly Jamieson Game Changer is the fifth book in the Wynn Hockey and is Jackson (Jax) Wynn and Molly Flynn’s story. I enjoy Kelly Jamieson’s style of writing, her characters are strong and yet she shows that they can be human and not the “perfect” hero or heroine and this makes for a realistic and enjoyable read. Where do I start? What do you do when you find out right before your wedding that your fiancee is cheating? That is the predicament that Molly finds herself in and when she turns to her fiancee’s team mate and her friend Jax for help, he really has no choice but to help her. Jax does whatever he can to avoid the craziness that is is family and the last thing he should be contemplating is taking Molly with him to visit his family, however that is just what happens. The family dynamics of the Wynn family is convoluted, however you know that they love one another and will protect and have one another’s back at all times. The chemistry between Jax and Molly sizzles and as the intensity grows you could feel the heat. I loved Jackson, he is totally swoon worthy, he made me laugh and smile and ticked the boxes for me. I also loved how Molly was welcomed into the Wynn family, they may be eccentric at times but when they love someone they embrace them wholeheartedly. A well written romance which had me totally invested in the story that Ms.Jamieson wove and is my favourite to date.
