Six years later, divorced and both living in the same town, he wants her to stay and she wants to leave because it is too painful for her to see him day after day. They still love each other but trying to get past that old pain is too much. Zoe York does a fantastic job getting the reader involved in the story from the beginning and you feel the emotions and heartaches of the couple as you read along. I have never been disappointed in reading one of her stories and am so glad I have discovered her writing.
