When Heaven Invades Earth

Bill Johnson's book, "When Heaven Invades Earth," describes the church I am expectant of, the one we have heard and read about, but have not yet seen in any long term or worldwide consistency or permanency. It involves the uncomfortable risk required to step out of the boat, every time there is an opportunity, anytime, anywhere. It describes the wedding invitations that need to go out to the highways and the byways because the guests who were invited are already sleeping, bored, or disengaged. It describes the bride that Jesus is preparing to return for, the one we need to realize we already are, for "as He is, so are we in this world" , the Jesus presented to us by the Holy Spirit, on the other side of the cross, the resurrection. This book is for those who want to understand what Jesus meant when He told us that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. It's for those who care about Revival, and the souls who are lost and are slipping into eternity every day in this hour of the church. It's for those who care about knowing and being known by the same Jesus Christ written about in the Book of the Revelation of Him. Bill Johnson isn't some pastor coming out of the woodwork whose teachings are built on hype and the wow factor. His teachings aren't due to fade like another fad or designed to highlight a group based in error or some diversion from the truth of God's Word. He is a fifth generation pastor, with a heart for the values of heaven, especially the presence of God, the things of the Spirit of God, and revival. If you truly want to be a student of God Word, and a disciple of Jesus Christ, you should study what is being taught, and learn to put into practice the sound principles and insights based on the truth of the Word of God presented in this book.

This book enlightens, encourages, and renews ones veiw on how Christ works through his church. It expresses the power and love of God to work through His church fully and completely.
