there were some areas of the book that confused me, for example the chapter that talks about the 80/20 principle, I couldn't follow how it applies to leadership.

The book is great but that author can use a few more examples so that we can understand how to act on it. Nevertheless, this book can give you a clear outline of what a leader should be.

Short, but delivers a basic structure for leadership. A longer and more in depth explanation is needed. I'd recommend this for someone starting out in leadership or management but supplemental material will be needed.
