Lost and Found Heir: A no strings attached romance

Four and a half stars Lost and Found Heir is the third in Joss Wood’s DNA Dynasties series, about the Ryder-White family. Garrett Kade didn’t get to be running his own successful investment company by taking orders. World renowned mixologist Jules Carlson just seems to raise his hackles and get his heart beating faster without even trying though, and strangely that seems to be completely mutual. Joss Wood’s story is emotional and incendiary. Jules and Garrett both staunchly guard their hearts and have many protective layers they’re surprised the other seems to wriggle past. Lost and Found Heir is an exciting romance and also advances the overarching story arcs for the series. Don’t miss it!

The subtitle to this book could have been “complicated family relationships”. There is nothing simple in the dynamics within Jules or Garrett’s family trees. Drama. Secrets. Lies. You name it and they’re dealing with the fallout from it. In the middle of all that emotional turmoil, they discover a connection to one another that’s as powerful as it is inconvenient. This pair broke my heart with everything that had been heaped on them, but I loved seeing how they supported each other, almost against their better judgement. I thought these two made a wonderful couple. And, as more Ryder-White secrets are revealed, I’m even more impatient to see how this whole family saga will turn out. This book features Garrett and Jules, but we get to catch up with the Ryder-White clan to see what other secrets will come out and what’s going in with them. Jules fights her attraction to Garrett, but eventually gives in. What’s going to happen now? Will they get their happily ever after or remain friends? I loved the relationship between Jules and Kate and Peta. Jules asks for Garrett’s help to see if there’s anything that can be done to save Kate’s home at least. Will he find a solution or is it a lost cause? No spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens in this fantastic series.
