I have not read all the Psychic Visions, I have them all and have enjoyed the ones I read. This one with Jamie, Samsons younger brother was a tad difficult for me, and it shouldn't be, look at all Stefan can do. Maybe because of Jamies petulance. Rock on Whimsy, even with all you have been through you grabbed the bull by the horns and dealt. There is mystery that is dealt out in micro steps. I wanted to yell, come on - share some more. There is suspense and romance. Putting aside the paranormal, stop and think, what is happening to our oceans, all the drilling and testing going on. That's just the ones we know about. Thank you for the arc. All thoughts and opinions are my own and were unsolicited.

4.5 breathtaking stars. Psychic Visions series by Dale Mayer is my fav series from her, so I was super excited with this book and it totally delivered, I can't put it down from the first chapter and because I have a bit of Aquaphobia, the fear is so intense and real, so frightening, it's like I'm drowning too, which makes this book an awesome read. Yup, I love everything, amazing unique lovable characters, amazing deep sea creatures, amazing supernatural power, and amazing story, although I wished the bad guy got more punishments and more of those creatures, it feels like there should be more chapters, I really don't want the story to end, but overall I really love it. If you're looking for a suspense paranormal read, this one is perfect for you.

I have read a lot of Dale Mayer books but I have always stuck to her military style ones, a genre that I was introduced to by her................until now. Wow, I really couldn't put this book down, it encompassed every element that a good story should have in spades. I really cant imagine where an author would go to research this subject, how much is based on fact and what is pure fantasy but it makes for a real page turner. Whimsy, a recent graduate, is out kayaking with her fiance and two friends, the friends return to shore when a storm threatens, Whimsy and her fiance get into difficulties ans are separated - here the story begins. She is washed up on the shore on a small private island, she is found by Sampson, the islands owner who was alerted by his two strange dogs , she has been shot, drowned and revived. Psychic influences abound, psychic conversations, out of body experiences, Sampson's, psychic brother, who is in an institution due to irrational behaviour, and much, much more. Unbeknown to Whimsy, she has been manipulated since university by one of her tutors, factions are competing for the ocean around the island which could destroy the ecology and give them control of the deep. The evident connection between Whimsy and Sampson adds a gentle romance, I really couldn't wait to get to the end of this book and I will definitely be going back to read the others. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
